Jay has “delivered wow” at thousands of wedding receptions since 1982 and has literally written the book on how to entertain at wedding receptions. Professional disc jockeys across the United States and Canada purchase his book Play Something We Can Dance To, seek his advice, and read the articles he writes as the senior contributor to the industry standard magazine, Mobile Beat. Jay’s mission in life is to go beyond what his clients are expecting. If you want a DJ with 35 years of experience in packing a dance floor, consider The Jay Maxwell Experience.
- (Up to six hours of performance time)
- Client does NOT pay for setup/breakdown time. Beyond 6 hours, $50 per 1/2 hour.

- Deliver Wow by creating an unparalleled experience!
- Show a personable and friendly attitude at all times.
- Play the music that you (and guests) request.
- Provide professional sound equipment.
- Coordinate and announce all the events.
- Hold a consultation prior to the event.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills.
- Wear formal attire or dress as requested.
- Be completely set up prior to guests’ arrival.
- Provide one hour free travel (each way).
Any of our packages can be reserved with a $100 retainer* along with a signed agreement.
* RETAINER also serves as the down payment.
